Connecticut Preservation Action (CPA) is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join its board of directors. CPA is a non-profit advocacy group (501c4) of individuals and organizations who lobby to protect and promote legislation for historic preservation regulation, funding, programming, and grants in Connecticut. We have been the unified advocacy voice of the preservation community at the State Capitol since 1980.
We welcome candidates who live in Connecticut and bring expertise in areas of economic development, architecture, land use law, urban and town planning, municipal commissions, fundraising, marketing, event planning, and historic preservation.
Board members serve 3-year terms, and work to develop preservation policy, advocate at the State Capitol, plan and attend special events, and participate in fundraising. Committed to diversity, equity, access, and inclusion, we strive to reflect Connecticut’s vibrant communities in all aspects of our work.
Thank you for your interest in joining our Board of Directors. Please fill out the form below and we will connect with you soon. We will accept forms on a rolling basis. Not all inquiries will result in a board position.
