Join us on Saturday, November 21st from 1:00PM-3:00PM for a unique tour of the Connecticut State Capitol building by decorative painting and interior finishes expert, John Canning. Mr. Canning will present about his restoration work that began in the 1970s. Then, he will guide us through many of the spaces to explain plaster repair, conservation methods, reconstruction of damaged and missing features, and the new decorative scheme in the Senate chambers.
Registration is required and space is limited. Please gather in the Old Judiciary Room, located on the 3rd floor of the Capitol at 1:00pm.
