Come join us on Sunday, October 11th at Putnam Elms in Brooklyn, CT, the former home of Colonel Major Daniel Putnam, the son of Revolutionary War hero General Israel Putnam for a special tour of the house! Following the tour, there will be an opportunity to experience Ghost Stories to Scare the Dickens Out of You, a lively portrayal of Charles Dickens. This seasonal performance brings Victorian storytelling traditions to life for modern audiences and showcases the author’s fascination with ghost stories and the supernatural. Preservation CT members can arrive at 1:00 PM to enjoy a tour of the house and some light refreshments before the program begins at 2:00PM.
