Sealed Bids for the Sale of Property with improvements at 233 Skiff Street, Hamden will be received by the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority, at its offices, 90 Sargent Drive, New Haven, Connecticut 06511-5966 until 2:00pm local time on May 4, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
The property at 233 Skiff Street, Hamden includes a .32-acre +/- lot with a single-family house built circa 1840 and detached garage. Sale of the property will be subject to restrictive covenants to protect the public water supply and the historic character of the building.
The Property will be shown at two dates and times: April 9, 2026 at 3:00pm and April 10, 2026 at 9:00am. Bidders are required to attend one of the two pre-bid site visits. In order to attend the Pre-Bid meeting, the Bidder shall submit a written request stating his/her intention to attend this Pre-Bid meeting no later than April 1, 2026 by 5:00pm.
If a written request is NOT received, then the Bidder will not be allowed to attend the Pre-Bid. The written request should be mailed or emailed to the following:
