Repair and Preservation of Cow Barn, Thomas Darling Museum, Woodbridge CT

The Amity and Woodbridge Historical Society seeks proposals from qualified contractors to repair and preserve an early 19th century English barn and its additions. The scope of work includes attention to the exterior sheathing, to deteriorated posts, planking and rafters, and to various wood connections, and installing new tie rods. The work, supported by a grant from the State Historic Preservation Office, must be performed to the Standards of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
