Join us on Saturday, February 14th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM for a rare opportunity to visit the house of influential architectural historian, author, and teacher, Vincent Scully. Located at 68 Orchard Road in Woodbridge and newly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this is the only remaining house designed by Scully himself. As such, its features and alterations reflect themes that characterized Scully’s evolving thinking about Modern architecture. This event is a casual open house with remarks about the house’s history given at 11:15 and 12:15 by Preservation Connecticut’s Chris Wigren. We hope to see you there!

PARKING INFORMATION: Access to the house is from Orchard Road. Parking is only allowed on the street to keep the short driveway clear for everyone to walk up to the house. PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL IF YOU NEED CLOSE PARKING. Street parking may be tough as a lot of people have registered and there is still snow. Please be courteous and park in a fashion that allows the maximum number of cars to fit. Please do not block other driveways.

This event is generously sponsored by Wojtek W. Boroski, Edgehill Team at Pearce Real Estate.
