Description:

Hudson Valley Preservation’s (HVP) roots lie in the knowledge of, and experience with, historic structures. In 1983-84, Mason Lord apprenticed as a Restoration craftsman with the National Trust for Historic Preservation at the National Historic Site, Lyndhurst. In 1991, Mason incorporated Hudson Valley Preservation. Since its inception, the company has grown stronger and more diversified with the addition of partner, David Seegers. Today, HVP has become one of the foremost companies for historical renovations in the Hudson Valley and western Connecticut regions.

HVP offers a wide range of services from the restoration of historic structures to design, renovation, and remodeling on buildings of all ages. Along the way, we do the detective work necessary to determine the best solution to any problem. Throughout the process, we act as a trusted advisor, coordinating the many pieces that need to come together for projects to run smoothly. Although our process starts with design, it ends with our own team of trained craftsmen sensitively executing the scope of work.

Our extensive knowledge of Building science, current materials, and their impact on the environment, allows us to apply 21st century engineering and material solutions into healthier living spaces.
