Join us for an exclusive FREE event for Preservation Connecticut members!

On Thursday, May 18th, we will have an exclusive tour for our members of The First Presbyterian Church of Stamford, nicknamed “The Fish Church” since its construction for its unique shape. Stamford’s only National Historic Landmark, this Modern Building is the result of the architect Wallace K. Harrison posing the question, “have you ever thought what it would be like to live in a giant sapphire?”

The tour will begin at 4:00pm (keep heavy traffic in mind). Wes Haynes, the author of the National Historic Landmark nomination, will guide us through the building and discuss the architecture, history, and recent preservation work completed.

This tour is for up to date members only. Need to renew? Click here! We will reach out to collect payment if your membership has expired. Thanks for your support!
