Historic Tax Credit Project Profiles

by CT Trust | Sep 21, 2018 | Advocacy, Funding

Learn about seven incredible tax credit projects from around the state of Connecticut, which have revived historic buildings through the use of state and local historic preservation tax credits.  They are:

  • Capewell Horse Nail Company, Hartford, CT
  • Capitol Lofts, Hartford, CT
  • Cheney Mill Dye House, Manchester, CT
  • Commercial Trust Co. (Anvil Building), New Britain, CT
  • Montgomery Mill, Windsor Locks, CT
  • Spectra Boutique Apartments, Hartford, CT
  • Yale & Towne (5 Buildings), Stamford, CT

Five of the projects are featured in our Making Places Survey of industrial heritage around the state.  Thanks to our friends from Connecticut Preservation Action for assembling these project profiles and letting us post to this website!

For more analysis of the impact of tax credits, read about a project completed by a recent intern.
