Join us on Saturday, September 6th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM for an exclusive open house of Middletown’s finest 18th century home! Located at 1066 Washington Street and individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this c.1742 house was built by prominent citizen Judge Seth Wetmore and has been visited by Jonathan Edwards, Timothy Dwight, Aaron Burr and the Marquis de Lafayette. The house remained in the Wetmore family for over two centuries and was saved from demolition by its current owner in 2007. The house is now for sale and this event is intended to be a casual open house with remarks about the house’s history given at 11:15 and 12:15. We hope to see you there!

PARKING INFORMATION: Access to the house is from Camp Street and then Washington Street Extension. Parking will be available on the lawn, in the driveway and at the end of Washington Street Extension at the cul-de-sac.
